Job summary

Magnit in the United Kingdom is seeking a Director of Implementations to lead a client-facing team of project managers and MSP/VMS experts. You will sponsor key implementations, guide strategy, mentor staff, and interface with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery across Magnit's global accounts.

The role requires 15+ years in project management (MSP space), 10+ years leading teams, and deep knowledge of MSP/VMS platforms such as Fieldglass, Beeline, and VNDLY.

Qualifications

• 15+ years project management experience preferably within the MSP space.
• 10+ years experience of managing a team is required.
• Adopt continuous improvement approaches to develop faster and more cost-effective implementation strategies while mitigating program risk.
• Enhance, modify, implement, and communicate project management methodology, standards, and best practices.
• Assess, evaluate, and report on overall team and individual team member performance.
• Build and maintain a project library with current and most recent materials.
• Provide thought leadership to MSP management by keeping abreast of latest market trends in MSP Implementation and VMS technology.

Responsibilities

• Sponsor key implementations and mentor the project team on the best approach and strategies to pursue throughout the implementation.
• Monitor colleague performance, educate, and coach for career growth and performance improvement.
• Interface with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure project sponsorship and support for the effective execution of implementation projects.
• Ensure that post-project reviews are completed for every designated project ensuring that lessons learned are incorporated into the implementation methodology and standards for future projects.
• Conduct strategic department org structure resource and budget planning.
