Job summary

GE Vernova is launching a Global HVDC System Commissioning & Services department within the HVDC Solution Line. The Global HVDC System Commissioning & Services Leader will oversee this new unit, aligning central governance with regional teams to deliver the portfolio safely and efficiently.

The role requires steering V&V, end-to-end commissioning, and lifecycle support for a diverse, international fleet, with travel to project sites and labs around the world as part of leading this growth

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
Extensive experience in HVDC control & protection or large-scale power system commissioning.
Proven track record leading large, multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
Deep technical knowledge of HVDC technologies (LCC/VSC), control system architecture (eLumina), SCADA, and Cyber-security.

Responsibilities

Establish governance framework to ensure seamless system integration across projects.
Provide independent oversight of system integration and readiness for site deployment.
Lead end-to-end commissioning strategy from laboratory integration to customer acceptance.
Drive lifecycle support and continuous improvement for the installed fleet.
