Job summary

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is seeking a Head of HR Technology & AI Transformation to lead a multi-year strategy aligning HR tech, automation and data-driven decision-making with the firm’s priorities.

You will guide HR systems transformation across the lifecycle, champion AI adoption, and shape a data-driven HR function while managing a global team and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading HR technology transformation in global organisations.
• Strong track record designing HR technology strategies, roadmaps and operating models.
• Deep knowledge of AI and automation in HR and business functions.
• Proven ability to lead global teams through periods of major change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a multi-year HR technology, automation and AI strategy aligned to business priorities.
• Lead HR systems transformation across the employee lifecycle.
• Redesign and automate HR workflows to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Champion AI adoption and translate innovation into measurable business impact.
• Oversee HR data strategy, data quality and insights.
• Build and lead a global HR Technology & Reporting team.
• Drive change management and adoption strategies with stakeholders."
• Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Data Privacy and other functions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead engagement with vendors and technology partners, including market evaluation and implementation oversight.
• Establish an AI and Innovation network across HR for knowledge sharing.
