Job summary

C. Hoare & Co. is seeking an HR Automation Lead to shape and deliver a simplification roadmap for the People Team, driving HR technology adoption, data quality, and AI-enabled processes to improve employee experience and business outcomes.

You will partner with HR leadership, Technology, Data, and external partners to deploy AI-enabled solutions, manage vendors, and deliver measurable value across HR operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, HR Technology, Digital HR, HR Transformation, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience in building and deploying Agents through Co Pilot Studio.
• Experience building workflows in Microsoft Power Automate.
• Experience applying AI, analytics, automation, or digital solutions in a business environment.
• Experience working with HR systems, reporting, data management, and technology vendors.
• Experience leading change, transformation, or innovation initiatives.
• Experience delivering training, capability-building, or adoption programmes.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience working across multiple business functions and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the People Team simplification roadmap aligned to organisational priorities and HR objectives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve HR processes through AI, analytics, and digital solutions.
• Act as the People Team’s AI Champion – turning requirements into deployment-ready Co Pilot Studio enterprise agents.
• Act as the People Team’s subject matter expert on automation, AI, HR technology, and people data.
• Own and continuously improve the HR technology landscape in partnership with Technology teams and external suppliers.
• Improve HR data quality, accessibility, reporting, and data governance practices.
• Lead AI and technology pilots, ensuring clear benefits tracking and measurable business outcomes.
• Develop and deliver AI learning programmes, practical guidance, and capability-building activities for HR colleagues.
• Partner with HR leaders to identify and prioritise technology and process improvement opportunities.
• Manage relationships with HR technology vendors and implementation partners.
• Facilitate collaboration across People, Technology, Data, Risk, and Security teams.
• Monitor emerging AI, HR technology, and future-of-work trends and provide recommendations for adoption.
• Develop reporting and insights that support workforce planning, employee experience, and strategic decision-making.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement across HR processes and services.
