Job summary

Morgan Stanley's HR Employee Solutions team seeks an HRES Business Advisor to partner closely with employees and managers. The role blends client-facing HR advisory work with ad-hoc project activity, supporting a fast-moving, high-volume environment and a global operating model transformation.

You will influence stakeholders, communicate effectively with HR colleagues at local, regional, and global levels, and use data analytics to identify trends.

Qualifications

• HR generalist or HRBP experience in financial or professional services (3–4 years preferred).
• Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with data analytics to support decision making.
• Experience in matrix management structures is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Advise and manage a wide range of employee relations issues, including liaising with Employment Law and External Counsel when necessary.
• Partner with HRBP team on Year-End initiatives such as compensation decisions, promotion roundtables, and performance processes.
• Manage and advise on Occupational Health cases with consistent risk management and outcomes.
• Provide timely data analytics and reporting to support decision making, identifying trends and risks.
• Collaborate with hiring managers, Recruitment and Compensation teams on recruitment activities.
• Assist with initiation and coordination of international relocations and assignments with internal partners.
• Assist in monthly audits to ensure accurate and reliable data and guidance as needed.
• Demonstrate agility in delivery, adapting to changing priorities and evolving operating model.
• Leverage HR technologies to enhance service delivery and drive continuous improvement.
• Build trust and promote the HR operating model with key stakeholders.
