Just Temps is recruiting a Freight Forwarder for our client on the outskirts of Great Blakenham, near Ipswich. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, initially temp to perm with progression to a long-term position.

You will handle bookings, liaise with customers, suppliers and international agents, and manage documentation and customs requirements to ensure smooth shipments. The pay rate is circa £14.90-£16.00 per hour.

Competenze

• Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics or transport coordination.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and transport or freight management systems.
• CNS/Destin8 knowledge
• Multifreight knowledge
• Clearance including Bond is essential

Mansioni

• Arrange transport bookings and liaise with hauliers, shipping lines
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs paperwork
• Track shipments and keep customers updated on progress and delivery times
