Prime Appointments Ltd is recruiting a Temporary Dispatch Administrator in the Ipswich area for a full-time temporary role. The assignment starts Monday 16th November and is likely to last two weeks, with a potential extension.

The role operates on a 9-day fortnight with working hours 8:45am-5:15pm (Mon-Thu) and 8:45am-5:00pm (Fridays), with a salary up to £30,000 per annum. Key duties include coordinating dispatches by sea, air and road, liaising with freight forwarders and couriers, and

Qualifications

• Experience in transport or logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation and related legislation is advantageous.
• Experience with SAP and similar systems is beneficial.
• Strong IT, organisation and time-management skills are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail are required.
• Must be available to start Monday 16th November for 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer order dispatches by sea, air and road.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers and third parties.
• Prepare export dispatch documentation and apply freight charges.
• Respond to delivery queries and resolve issues with couriers.
• General administration and filing within the dispatch office.
