Melbreck Technical Recruitment is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Service/Installation and Commissioning Engineer. The role involves installing, commissioning and servicing food processing equipment at customer sites in the UK and overseas. You will respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues and minimise downtime while maintaining high standards of quality.

A mix of on-site and in-house work is expected. The position offers permanent employment, with a 39-hour week Monday to Friday and occasional

Qualifications

• Practical mechanical and electrical knowledge is essential.
• PLC/HMI programming knowledge is beneficial; training may be provided.
• Engineering apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission and service food processing equipment at customer sites in the UK and overseas.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues and minimise machinery downtime.
• When not on site, repair or refurbish equipment at the company premises; report to After Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with customers and colleagues; work varied hours and travel as needed.
