Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission, service and maintain specialist food processing and industrial equipment across the UK. This field-based role requires practical problem solving and the ability to work independently on a variety of machinery.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, provide on-site and remote support, and complete service reports.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Scottish NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills.
• Confident reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and maintain equipment at customer sites throughout the UK.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and repairs to keep machinery operating.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using drawings and schematics as needed.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, including operation/guidance on maintenance.
