Job summary

CloudMargin is seeking a senior finance professional to manage day-to-day financial operations across group entities, spanning bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll, and board reporting. You will support FP&A, budgeting, and decision-making while ensuring a scalable finance function for a growing global business.

This role requires ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification, multi-entity experience, VAT knowledge, and familiarity with cloud accounting systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 year experience as ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified
• Experience across multi-entity/jurisdiction groups
• Experience with UK VAT (US Sales Tax a bonus)
• Payroll experience across UK and international entities
• Experience using cloud-based accounting packages (e.g., Xero)
• Experience producing Board reporting and commentary
• Understanding of AI as an efficiency tool
• Experience using FP&A and planning tools
• Understanding SaaS metrics and business model
• Experience in a small company, startup, or fast-growth environment

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day bookkeeping for group entities across multiple jurisdictions
• Managing AR & AP ledgers and credit control
• Maintaining balance sheet accuracy
• Customer invoicing and revenue reporting
• Cash flow analysis and forecasting
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing payroll data UK and international
• SubmittingVAT returns and global sales tax
• Collaborating with external tax/accounting providers
• Supporting statutory accounts and external audits
• Assisting with corporate tax filings across jurisdictions
• Updating finance procedures and documentation
• Preparing monthly management and Board reporting
• Assisting with vendor and systems evaluations
