Job summary

Reed Finance are partnered exclusively with a repeat client to hire a new Finance Manager to join a privately owned group of businesses. The role offers a highly flexible environment with predominantly home‑based working and responsibility across multiple entities within a wider group.

Reporting into the CFO, you will oversee bookkeeping and accounts administration, prepare monthly management accounts, coordinate statutory reporting, manage cashflow, VAT and payroll processes, and work with

Qualifications

• Broad SME finance experience.
• Strong financial and management accounting experience.
• Experience supporting multiple businesses and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with cashflow, VAT and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple entities.
• Produce statutory accounts and year-end reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and advisers.
• Oversee cashflow reporting, forecasting and oversight.
• Handle VAT returns and compliance activities.
• Oversee payroll.
• Support Managing Directors with financial reporting and analysis.
• Oversee bookkeeping and accounts administration across the group.
• Maintain robust financial controls and reporting standards.
