Job summary

Optimizely is seeking a seasoned Group Financial Controller to lead the global accounting function for a PE-backed SaaS business. You will own IFRS technical accounting, close cycles, audits, and statutory filings while driving automation and AI-enabled finance across regions.

You will coach regional controllers and partner with FP&A to deliver accurate, timely consolidated accounts and strategic insights, shaping finance for the next growth chapter.

Qualifications

10+ years accounting or controllership experience.
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent).
Experience leading statutory reporting and external audits across multiple jurisdictions.
Experience in PE-backed SaaS or high-growth tech businesses is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Own global month-, quarter-, and year-end close process across all entities.
Oversee monthly regional and consolidated flux analysis; present key fluctuations to finance leadership.
Deliver audit-ready consolidated management accounts on time; partner with FP&A for coherent narrative.
Oversee group statutory financial statements under IFRS.
Continuously improve close timelines via automation while maintaining control.
