Job summary

Infiniium Ltd partners with a global marketing technology leader to appoint a Group Financial Controller. This is a strategic, high-visibility role overseeing a multi-region team and driving automated, AI-enabled close and reporting across a complex international group.

You will own the consolidated close, IFRS leadership, and external audits while shaping liquidity, FX oversight, and M&A readiness. A Top 10 audit background and extensive multi-entity experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with top-tier audit background.
• 10+ years in accounting or controllership, including senior international group-focused role.
• Strong IFRS technical judgement (IAS 21).
• Multi-jurisdiction statutory reporting and audits across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Own global month/quarter/year-end close and deliver audit-ready consolidated management accounts.
• Act as IFRS authority (IFRS 15, 16, 2, 3, IAS 36) and lead IFRS 18 transition.
• Run external audits and statutory filings across UK, US, Sweden, UAE, Singapore and Bangladesh.
• Champion AI and automation across close, reconciliations, flux analysis and journal review.
• Own cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and FX oversight.
• Support M&A diligence and keep group transaction-ready for IPO or trade sale.

Infiniium is partnering with a global, PE-backed marketing technology leader to appoint a Group Financial Controller. Trusted by thousands of brands and consistently recognised as leaders in their field, the business is preparing for its next chapter as the AI platform for marketing.

This is not a conventional controllership role. The technical accounting, close, audit and statutory compliance are the floor, not the ceiling. The real opportunity is to automate, modernise and transform how close and reporting work across a complex international group.

The Role

Leading an international team of group accounting and regional controllers across EMEA, North America and APAC, you will:

• Own the global month, quarter and year-end close and deliver audit-ready consolidated management accounts
• Act as the in-house IFRS authority (IFRS 15, 16, 2, 3, IAS 36) and lead the transition to IFRS 18
• Run external audits and statutory filings across the UK, US, Sweden, UAE, Singapore and Bangladesh
• Champion AI and automation across close, reconciliations, flux analysis and journal review
• Own cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and FX oversight
• Keep the group transaction-ready for IPO, trade sale or secondary, and support M&A diligence

What you'll bring

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent), ideally with a Top 10 firm audit background
• 10+ years in accounting or controllership, including 2+ years as a senior international group focused role in a multi-entity international business
• Strong IFRS technical judgement, including IAS 21
• Multi-jurisdiction statutory reporting and audit experience
• Hands-on NetSuite (or comparable ERP) experience would be highly sought after; exposure to Ledge, FloQast or BlackLine is a strong plus
• Practical experience implementing automation or AI tools that made a measurable difference
• SaaS or high-growth tech experience is a must to be considered for this role; PE experience highly desirable
