Optimizely is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead our global finance function in a PE-backed SaaS environment shaping the next chapter of AI-enabled finance. You'll own IFRS, the close, audit, and regulatory compliance across entities, while building automation and a high-performing international team across EMEA, NA, and APAC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting or controllership in multi-entity international business.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with strong IFRS knowledge (IFRS 15, 16, 2, 3, IAS 36, IAS 21).
• Proven track record managing statutory reporting and external audits across jurisdictions.
• Experience in PE-backed SaaS or high-growth tech businesses preferred.
• Hands-on with ERP systems (NetSuite) and familiarity with close automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own global month-, quarter-, and year-end close across all entities.
• Lead regional controllers and consolidate reporting; drive accuracy.
• Deliver audit-ready consolidated accounts and IFRS-based statutory statements.
• Advance automation to shorten close timelines while maintaining control.
• Lead IFRS transition activities (incl. IFRS 18) and COA readiness.
• Oversee external audits and statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive AI-enabled finance initiatives and control improvements.
• Manage treasury: cash flow forecasting, liquidity, and FX oversight.
• Support M&A diligence, carve-outs, and integration work.
