Job summary

Medal.tv is seeking a seasoned Global Controller to own US accounting, reporting, and compliance end-to-end. The role focuses on US GAAP, multi-entity tax, audits, and building a scalable, AI-enhanced finance function in a fast-moving startup.

You will lead month-end close, coordinate auditors, and automate finance processes across accounting, payroll, and reporting, enabling strategic decision-making with transparent dashboards.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience including Big 4 / public accounting
• Deep US GAAP and financial-statement expertise
• Hands-on US + international tax across multi-entity structures and complex reconciliations

Responsibilities

• Own US accounting, reporting, and compliance end-to-end
• Lead month-end close and audits across jurisdictions
• Build and automate scalable finance processes across accounting, payroll, and reporting
• Manage general ledger, revenue recognition, accruals, and reconciliations
