Job summary

Optimizely is seeking a Group Financial Controller to own the global close, IFRS compliance, and statutory reporting across a multi-entity structure. You will lead an international accounting team, partner with FP&A, and drive automation to shorten close cycles while preserving control.

You will oversee external audits, intercompany eliminations, and regulatory filings, shaping a scalable, AI-enabled finance function for a PE-backed SaaS business with a global footprint.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting or controllership, with multi-entity international exposure.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with strong IFRS knowledge.
• Proven track record in statutory reporting and external audits across jurisdictions.
• Experience in PE-backed SaaS or high-growth tech environments preferred.
• Hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite) and close automation tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own global close process (monthly/quarterly/year-end) across entities.
• Lead statutory financial statements under IFRS and audit readiness.
• Drive regional controllers and consolidate reporting across regions.
• Lead AI-enabled finance tooling and automation initiatives.
• Maintain robust control environment and intercompany processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A for coherent financial narratives and lender reporting.
