Job summary

Premier Work Support is assisting Basildon-based exporter and wholesale distributor in recruiting an organised and customer-focused Export Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join their busy office team on a permanent basis.

Key duties include processing orders, preparing export documentation, coordinating shipments with freight providers, handling customer enquiries by phone and email, and supporting the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in export, logistics, sales support or customer service.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Able to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment.
• Positive, proactive and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders from receipt through to dispatch.
• Prepare export and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate shipments and liaise with freight providers.
• Manage customer accounts and handle enquiries by telphone and email.
• Process sample requests and maintain accurate customer records.
• Set up new customer accounts and monitor outstanding orders.
• Work closely with sales, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Support Account Managers and provide general sales administration.
