Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is hiring an Employee Relations Manager to lead ER operations for the UK and Canada within the People Services team. You will partner with senior HR leaders to triage tribunal claims, guide disciplinary and grievance matters, and drive proactive alignment with our global ER strategy across five pillars.

You will coach and develop the ER team, analyse data for actionable insights, and collaborate with legal and HRBPs to deliver impact while ensuring compliance with UK laws

Qualifications

• Background in Employee Relations within global organisations.
• Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law and tribunal processes.
• CIPD Level 5 (Level 7 is a plus).
• Proven leadership and coaching skills.
• Understanding of Canadian employment law frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Data-driven mindset for identifying opportunities.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead ER operations across the UK and Canada with regional and global alignment.
• Own one ER pillar, driving consistency with business goals.
• Manage and triage UK tribunal claims, coordinating with external counsel.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary, grievances and Speak Up cases.
• Analyse ER data and trends to drive improvements.
• Coach, mentor and develop the ER team.
• Support restructures with clear, fair processes.
• Collaborate with global HR, HRBPs and legal to align strategies.
• Utilise Workday and Jira Service Management for case management.
• Explore innovative ways of working to boost productivity.
