Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead ER operations in the UK and Canada. You will drive alignment with global ER strategy across key pillars and triage tribunal claims with external counsel as needed.

You will coach a growing ER team, analyze case data, and provide proactive HR guidance to senior stakeholders. Travel 10–15% to support regional teams as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Employee Relations within global, matrixed organisations.
• Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law and tribunal processes.
• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent); Level 7 is a plus.
• Proven leadership and coaching ability to develop teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across levels.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% to support regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead ER operations across the UK and Canada with local compliance and global alignment.
• Own one ER pillar, driving consistency with business goals.
• Triage UK tribunal claims and legal matters, coordinating with external counsel.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance and Speak Up cases.
• Analyze ER data to deliver actionable insights and drive improvements.
• Coach and develop the ER team within the framework.
• Support restructures with clear roles and processes for employees.
• Collaborate with global HR, HRBPs and legal to align strategies and impact.
