Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead ER operations across the UK and Canada within the People Services team. You will balance regional compliance with our global ER strategy, focusing on performance, disciplinary, grievances, org design support, and absence management.

You will triage tribunal claims, handle complex escalations, guide disciplinary and Speak Up investigations, and provide data-driven insights to raise the bar.

Qualifications

• Experience in ER within global/matrixed organizations.
• Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law and tribunal processes.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (Level 7 is a plus).
• Proven leadership and coaching skills.
• Experience with ER investigations, disciplinary, grievances, and Speak Up cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead ER operations across the UK and Canada, ensuring local compliance while supporting global alignment.
• Own and drive one ER pillar to align with business goals.
• Manage and triage UK tribunal claims; partner with external counsel as needed.
• Provide expert guidance on disciplinary, grievance, and Speak Up cases; offer escalation support.
• Analyze ER data to deliver insights and drive improvements.
• Coach and develop the ER team; support career growth within the ER framework.
• Facilitate ER representation during restructures with clear processes.
