Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Employee Relations or HRBP within global matrix organisations.
• Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law, tribunal processes and compliance frameworks.
• CIPD Level 5 required; Level 7 is a plus.
• Proven leadership and coaching ability to develop teams.
• Experience with ER investigations and conflict resolution.
• Awareness of Canadian employment law frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Data-driven mindset to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Commitment to a values-led, customer-centric culture.
• Willingness to travel internationally (around 10–15%).

Responsibilities

• Lead ER operations across the UK and Canada, ensuring local compliance while driving global alignment.
• Own one ER pillar and drive consistency with business goals.
• Triage UK tribunal claims and engage external counsel as needed.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance, and Speak Up cases.
• Analyze ER data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Coach and develop the ER team and mentor staff.
• Support restructures with clear roles and processes.
• Collaborate with global HR, HRBPs, and legal to align strategies.
• Utilise Workday and Jira Service Management for case handling.
• Explore innovative ways of working to boost productivity.
