Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead ER operations across the UK and Canada within the People Services team. You will balance UK employment law with the global ER strategy, triage tribunal claims, manage complex escalations and deliver data-driven insights to raise performance and strengthen workplace relationships.

You will own a designated ER pillar, coach the team, and collaborate with global HR, legal, and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in Employee Relations or HR business partnering within global orgs.
• Strong knowledge of UK Employment Legislation and tribunal processes.
• CIPD Level 5 is required; Level 7 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead ER operations across UK and Canada, ensuring local compliance while supporting global alignment.
• Own one ER pillar and drive consistency with business goals.
• Triage UK tribunal claims and work with external counsel when needed.
• Provide escalation support on disciplinary and grievance matters; support Speak Up cases.
• Analyze ER data to deliver insights and drive improvements.
• Coach and develop the ER team and foster career growth.
• Collaborate with global HR and legal teams to align ER strategies.
• Utilize Workday and Jira Service Management for case management.
