Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead ER operations across the UK and Canada within the People Services team. You will balance regional legislation with our global ER strategy, triage tribunal claims, and drive proactive alignment with senior leaders.

You will own a pillar, coach the team, and collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in Employee Relations or HR business partnering in global organisations.
• Strong knowledge of UK Employment Legislation and tribunal processes.
• Experience leading and coaching teams to deliver ER outcomes.
• Ability to use data and metrics to identify improvements and drive impact.
• Excellent stakeholder management across levels and functions.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10–15%).

Responsibilities

• Lead ER operations across the UK and Canada with local compliance and global alignment.
• Own one ER pillar and drive consistency with business goals.
• Triage UK tribunal claims and liaise with external counsel as needed.
• Provide guidance on complex disciplinary, grievance, and Speak Up cases.
• Analyse ER data to deliver actionable recommendations and improvements.
• Coach and develop the ER team for career growth within the framework.
• Support ER during restructures with clear roles and processes.
• Collaborate with global HR, HRBPs and legal to align strategies.
• Utilise Workday and Jira Service Management for case management.
• Explore innovative ways to improve team productivity and clarity.
