Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging is seeking a Global Environment, Health & Safety Programs Manager to develop and execute EHS strategies across AMP. The role acts as the bridge between Global/Regional functions and site teams to drive a zero-harm culture and improve risk resilience.

You will lead development of global frameworks, partner with engineering for standardised processes, and establish KPIs to monitor progress across regions.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering or technical subject.
• Occupational H&S / Environmental / Risk management degree.
• 7+ years EH&S experience in an industrial setting.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Excellent leadership abilities and extensive knowledge of EHS Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and comfortable using a variety of software programs.
• Ability to lead remotely and in a multiculture environment.
• Open communication skills and collaboration across the organization.
• Motivation skills, results-focused, organized, and trustworthy.
• International experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the AMP Global EHS and FSPP Frameworks.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop EHS and risk capabilities across AMP.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis training development.
• Collaborate with Engineering to standardise machine operations processes.
• Develop and train Critical and Key Risk policies, standards, and guidance.
• Establish, monitor, and report KPIs to Global and Regional teams.
• Facilitate Global EHS Maturity Assessments within each region.
• Coordinate with Global and Regional EHS teams on initiatives and regulatory updates.
• Support compliance programs with EH&S laws and standards.
• Orient new EHS team members in the Region as required.
• Identify best practices for sharing with AMP teams.
• Lead/assist investigations of high-risk incidents and root cause analysis.
• Assist sites with risk management prioritization and capital expenditure alignment.
