Job summary

Promethean is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Lead to ensure global compliance and lead workplace health and safety programs. You will oversee packaging, electronics recycling, and regulatory reporting while coordinating safety training and certifications.

With 3–5 years in EH&S, you will monitor legislation, manage investigations, risk assessments, and ensure proper documentation. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a base salary range in the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.
• Knowledge of environmental reporting systems and regulations.
• Experience coordinating Health & Safety training and workplace safety programs.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, consultants, and third-party compliance providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage global environmental compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulations (packaging, electronics, batteries, EPR).
• Monitor changes in environmental legislation and implement new compliance requirements across the business.
• Coordinate environmental reporting, registrations, declarations, and regulatory submissions with external providers and agencies.
• Support sustainability initiatives through waste reduction and responsible practices.
• Maintain environmental compliance records, certifications, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate company Safety programs, including training, inspections, and safety initiatives.
• Conduct workplace incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Process and coordinate EH&S purchase orders and invoices with Finance.
• Promote continuous improvement in environmental compliance and safety.
