Job summary

Freight Personnel is seeking a Head of International and Ecommerce to lead the international and ecommerce team, aligning regulatory compliance with carrier partnerships and marketplace requirements. You will work directly with the Director to ensure services and integrations meet global standards.

Based Midlands or South, the role offers a competitive salary circa 70-85k, car allowance, pension, life assurance, and extensive training support as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Industry-specific expertise and specialisms.
• Experience in international and ecommerce sector.
• Extensive knowledge of international mail and parcel market, including regulatory, tax, duty and compliance.
• Strong people management skills with experience managing a successful team.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage a task from cradle to the death.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the current international and ecommerce teams, evaluating roles to maximise efficiency and minimise cost.
• Manage and develop carrier partner agreements, current and new.
• Maintain and improve carrier partner SLA.
• Identify and implement new carrier partners and services, liaising externally and internally to make this happen.
• Work with Commercial and Finance to maximise profitability by carrier route and lanes.
• Ensure adherence to Marketplace rules as an accredited carrier (Amazon, eBay and others).
• Keep ahead of market developments, specifically international and ensuring services and systems are fit for purpose.
• Build and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
