Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across International TacCIS. You will own the end-to-end pipeline for a defined geographic region, identifying, qualifying and securing new contracts while strengthening relationships with existing programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of the Land C5ISR market.
• Extensive experience in defence-related industrial sectors with background in technical, project management, marketing or business development.
• Proven track record in sales within long sales cycle markets.
• Experience of international defence sales and procurement processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of capture management and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end growth pipeline for defined geographic region, identifying and securing new contracts.
• Build and maintain strategic opportunity pipeline with defence budgets, procurement cycles and policy shifts.
• Develop business cases and strategic plans for pursuit and capture activities, including price-to-win analyses.
• Shape relationships with government, OEMs, industrial partners and channel partners.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Line Management and Engineering to develop value-based proposals.
