Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Senior Vice President, Data Science Lead for Global Clients to drive strategy and execution across the Data Science CoE. You will translate high‑level direction into practical, scalable analytics solutions and lead a large, matrixed team delivering measurable outcomes for major clients.

You will guide modelling, validation, and deployment, partnering with Product, Tech, and client teams to ensure robust, explainable results and ongoing innovation in media measurement and

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading Data Science teams in a matrixed organisation.
• Proven ability to translate complex modelling into business value for senior stakeholders.
• Expertise across MMM, attribution, propensity and forecasting in media contexts.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert oversight across statistical modelling, econometrics, ML, AI, forecasting and experimentation.
• Lead and grow the Data Science team with technical coaching and governance.
• Own the portfolio of Data Science CoE/Hub solutions and ensure scalable, reusable offerings.
• Identify high‑value opportunities for new Data Science solutions with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide senior technical review from problem framing to deployment and interpretation.
• Serve as a trusted technical partner to clients and internal stakeholders.
