Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Director, Data Strategy for global clients within the Global Client Solutions team. You will lead data strategy workstreams, build senior relationships, and guide the development of WPP's data and technology offerings to deliver measurable client growth.

You will manage cross-functional teams, contribute to strategic roadmaps, and help mentor junior staff while aligning data initiatives with client outcomes on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing clients or talent within an agency, adtech, or closely related environment.
• 10+ years experience in data-related roles.
• Experience delivering data strategies for multinational brands and global clients.
• Strong data strategy expertise across audience strategy, 1PD activation, and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of data strategy workstreams for global clients.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client data leads and stakeholders.
• Develop and evolve data and technology offerings; drive commercial growth.
• Mentor a DS Manager; oversee quality and consistency across the team.
• Collaborate across global, regional, and local teams to orchestrate data solutions.
• Support new business pitches and ensure adoption of data solutions.
