Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Customs Implementation Consultant to lead onboarding of new customers and deliver complex customs implementations across the UK. You will manage projects end-to-end, engage with stakeholders, design processes, and enable digital onboarding to ensure a superior customer experience.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, operational excellence, and delivering measurable improvements in customs operations while maintaining Maersk’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead customs implementation projects end-to-end.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across multiple functions.
• Experience documenting SOPs and implementation plans.
• Track record of driving process improvements in logistics or trade.

Responsibilities

• Lead customs implementation projects from initiation through handover.
• Deliver projects in line with Maersk methodologies and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Commercial, Product, Ops, Digital and Customer Success.
• Manage risks, dependencies, actions and governance for successful outcomes.
• Provide regular updates and executive reports to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless handover to operations with documentation and readiness reviews.
