Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Customs Implementation Consultant to lead onboarding of new customers and delivery of complex customs implementations across the UK. This role combines project management, stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and customer relationship management.

You will drive implementation projects end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring smooth handover to operations.

Qualifications

Proven project management experience within Customs, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, International Trade, or Supply Chain environments.
Demonstrated experience managing complex customer implementations, onboarding projects, or operational change programmes.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple business functions and seniority levels.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage customs implementation projects from initiation through to operational handover.
Deliver projects in line with Maersk implementation methodologies, customer requirements, and agreed timelines.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Commercial, Product, Operations, Digital, and Customer Success stakeholders.
Manage project risks, dependencies, actions, and governance to ensure successful implementation outcomes.
Provide regular project updates and executive-level reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.
