As we continue to grow our Customs Services business, we are looking for an experienced Customs Implementation Consultant to lead the successful onboarding of new customers and support the delivery of complex customs implementations across the UK. This is a highly visible role that combines project management, stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and customer relationship management.
As a Customs Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring new customers are successfully transitioned into Maersk’s Customs Services operation whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the implementation journey.
Proven project management experience within Customs, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, International Trade, or Supply Chain environments.
Demonstrated experience managing complex customer implementations, onboarding projects, or operational change programmes.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple business functions and seniority levels.
Experience developing and implementing operational processes and Standard Operating Procedures.
Strong customer-facing experience with a customer-first mindset.
Excellent project planning, organisation, and execution skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solutions.
High levels of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a matrix organisation.
