Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Customs Implementation Consultant to lead onboarding of new customers and support complex customs implementations across the UK. You will manage projects end-to-end, coordinate multiple teams, and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the journey.

The role requires proven project management, stakeholder engagement, and a customer-first mindset within a matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within customs, freight forwarding, logistics, international trade, or supply chain.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple functions and seniority levels.
• Experience developing and implementing operational processes and SOPs.
• Strong customer-facing experience with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to analyze problems and deliver practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage customs implementation projects from initiation through handover.
• Deliver projects in line with Maersk methodologies and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Commercial, Product, Operations, Digital, and Customer Success.
• Provide regular updates and executive reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless handover of solutions to operational teams with reviews and readiness checks.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Translate customer requirements into operational processes and manage expectations.
