Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Customer Service Executive in Chelmsford to support the Customer Services Manager and drive exceptional service across a global customer base.

You will liaise with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics to ensure orders are processed efficiently, resolve enquiries promptly and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Customer Service, Account Management or Order Management role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with international customers and complex order processes.
• Strong ERP/CRM system experience (SAP or similar).

Responsibilities

• Support the Customer Services Manager in day-to-day operations and team activities.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing a first-class service experience.
• Work closely with Sales teams to support key accounts and identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships.
• Liaise with internal departments including Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
• Act as the voice of the customer, identifying and removing barriers that impact the customer journey.
• Recommend and support process improvements within the Customer Service function.
• Produce reports and analyse data to support business decisions.
• Assist with projects and additional tasks as required.
