Job summary

Airbnb in the United Kingdom is seeking a Disaster Response Coordinator to join the Global Crisis Management (GCM) team. You will help mitigate the impact of unexpected events by preparing, acting decisively, and acting in the best interest of stakeholders during incidents.

In this role, you will review incident notifications, monitor threats, draft communications, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and provide clear updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in global disaster response or related field.
• Experience monitoring, assessing, and responding to global threats and crises.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• High dependability to meet schedule in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Review global incident notifications and determine response strategy based on threat severity and business impact.
• Monitor threats and events globally for potential impact to stakeholders.
• Draft and coordinate preparedness and response messaging for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate disaster response with cross-functional teams and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in product and process improvement efforts; perform other duties as assigned.
