Job summary

Cogent Communications is seeking a Global Account Manager in London to identify and secure new business opportunities worldwide, focusing on IP transit, Wave connectivity, Ethernet and Colocation services.

You will engage IT decision makers via direct calling, email and onsite meetings, build trusted relationships, and drive revenue by expanding Cogent's footprint across commercial and retail buildings, data centres and carrier-neutral hotels.

Qualifications

• Telesales experience in B2B sales is preferred.
• Proven ability to identify, qualify and generate opportunities via proactive prospecting.
• Strong oral and written communication to engage with Key Decision Makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities in a global sales territory.
• Use direct calling, email outreach and customer meetings to connect with Key Decision Makers.
• Apply consultative, relationship-driven selling to identify current and future connectivity needs.
• Position Cogent’s services leveraging the global network footprint in buildings, hotels, data centers, and colocation facilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
• Maintain and update detailed records of sales activities in CRM systems.
