Job summary

GlobalData Healthcare, part of GlobalData, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end planning and onsite delivery of international conferences and exhibitions. You will manage budgets, coordinate venue contracts, and oversee suppliers and internal teams to ensure flawless event execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with the events industry – conference/exhibition/meeting formats preferably (2 years).
• High attention to detail.
• Financial acumen, experience managing budgets.
• Great communication skills – liaising with all departments and suppliers.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• High level IT competency – MS Office and CRM databases.

Responsibilities

• End to end event planning and onsite delivery.
• Budget management including post-event reporting.
• Venue sourcing and negotiating contracts.
• Supplier sourcing, negotiation and procurement.
• Planning and fulfilment of all services including AV, signage, F&B, staging, branding, travel, onsite materials and delegate packs.
• Preparing and coordinating client communications – sponsors, delegates, speakers and partners.
• Liaison with sales, delegate sales, marketing, design and finance.
• Financial reporting and invoice processing, budget reconciliation.
• Coordinate production of signage, catalogs and event content with design.
• Manage the event APP and lead capture services.
