Job summary

DMG events is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the organisation and delivery of our flagship events in the UK. You will manage multiple exhibitions and conferences from concept through to completion, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure operational excellence and ROI.

You will oversee budgets, tender for conference elements, plan show floor layouts, and supervise on-site delivery including AV, speaker management, and health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience (4-5 years minimum) in international B2B conferences and exhibitions.
• IOSH Certification or equivalent health & safety qualification.
• First Aid knowledge or training is desirable.
• Strong budgeting and contract management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all operational and logistical elements for conferences and exhibitions.
• Tender for conference elements including stage designs and technical riders.
• Coordinate onsite AV, speaker management, and content providers.
• Develop show floor and layout plans and assist with exhibitor materials.
• Manage budgets and ensure cost savings while achieving ROI.
