Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking a Director, Global Compensation to lead the firm’s worldwide compensation function and act as the senior adviser to HR, Finance, and leadership. You will design, manage, and evolve compensation programs and analytics to align with our philosophy and culture.

You will oversee base pay, bonus programs, benchmarking, annual processes, and governance, driving insights while developing the global team and collaborating with stakeholders across geographies.

Qualifications

• Significant compensation experience within a complex global organization.
• Experience in investment management or financial services preferred.
• Ability to advise senior leaders with credibility and discretion.
• Proven people leadership and talent development capability.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across geographies.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of global compensation programs with key stakeholders.
• Oversee base pay, bonus programs, structures, benchmarking, and governance.
• Advise senior leaders on complex compensation decisions with discretion.
• Lead annual compensation reviews with governance and stakeholder engagement.
• Advance analytics and market insights to inform decisions and costs.
• Provide tools and dashboards to Compensation Committees for oversight.
• Prepare clear recommendations for senior leadership and committees.
• Develop the global compensation team, set priorities and build capability.
• Participate in industry forums to stay current with market trends.
