Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to own commercial performance across a broad portfolio of contracts, collaborating with senior operational and finance teams to drive profitability and manage risk.

You will lead negotiations, manage contracts, and provide commercial guidance to operational colleagues, ensuring governance, ethics, health & safety standards, and continuous improvement while building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, or similar role.
• Proven profitability and financial performance understanding.
• Experience managing contracts and business performance.
• Strong analytical skills with financial data.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and challenge where needed.
• Experience working with operational teams to deliver commercial outcomes.
• Detail-oriented and structured approach.
• Experience with digital systems and commercial tools.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of commercial performance across designated activities and contracts.
• Identify, assess and manage risks and opportunities to maximise profitability.
• Develop and deliver commercial strategies for sustainable growth.
• Balance commercial opportunities with contractual obligations and operational needs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Health & Safety to meet objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations and dispute resolution when required.
• Provide commercial guidance to operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and governance.
• Uphold values, ethics, health & safety, and CSR commitments.
• Utilise digital systems to monitor and improve performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across the business.
• Lead, support and develop the commercial team.
