Job summary

Lloyds is seeking a Head of Claims Oversight to lead how we oversee, challenge and strengthen claims performance across the Lloyds market. This senior role shapes how claims are viewed, managed and improved, building trusted relationships with senior market leaders and using data to identify risks.

You'll lead a team with the expertise to make a difference and influence the market's strategy for claims oversight and performance.

Qualifications

• Significant claims experience in an operational, technical or oversight environment.
• Strong knowledge of claims management and risk in insurance/financial services.
• Understanding of Lloyds, the London Market and international markets.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and navigating competing priorities.
• Evidence of influencing and negotiating to reach effective outcomes.
• Experience leading and developing teams or subject matter experts.
• Ability to interpret complex information and provide clear recommendations.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving with ownership of delivery.
• Experience delivering business change or improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Principles 4, Claims Management, within the Oversight framework.
• Identify and respond to emerging claims performance risks and take proportionate action.
• Use claims data to turn insight into focused market action.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across managing agents, brokers, and market groups.
• Lead the relationship with the LMA on claims matters.
• Head the claims response for Lloyds Major Event Response activity.
• Collaborate with Claims Operations, Claims Insight, Underwriting, Pricing, Reserving, Customer and Culture teams.
• Influence development of Lloyds claims and performance management strategy.
• Lead, develop and empower a high-performing Claims Oversight team.
