Your Responsibilities

1. Manage the claims programs of UK and Global P&C clients, including household names in retail, manufacturing, food & drink, hospitality, and logistics sectors.
2. Review policy coverage and advocate on behalf of clients to achieve outstanding claims outcomes.
3. Author technical updates, prepare executive summaries, deliver training, conduct claims audits, and maintain industry and regulatory knowledge.
4. Operate within an agile environment, requiring presence in the UK office at least once a week, with travel across the UK and potentially internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior claims relationship or technical role within a major corporate, law firm, insurer, or broker.
• Extensive experience with PDBI, Motor, Casualty, and understanding of legal principles across insurance types.
• Strong problem-solving and research skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues and advise clients effectively.
• Knowledge of Motor, Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, Property Damage & Business Interruption claims, with some understanding of Cyber, D&O, PI, PAT, Marine Cargo.
• Ability to understand client business issues and insurance needs quickly.
• Excellent communication skills for advocating large, complex claims and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in claims analysis, including triangulations, deductibles, and cover variations.
• Professional presence to interface with clients, insurers, and industry professionals, representing Lockton with integrity.
• Understanding of claims handling in the London Market and handling of Global risks is advantageous.
