Due to significant expansion over the past 5 years and major global client wins, we are seeking a Global Claims Advocate/Executive responsible for managing claims programs for select UK and global P&C clients.

Our clients include household names across retail, manufacturing, food & drink, hospitality, and logistics sectors.

The successful candidate will be a highly organized, technical, and robust claims advocate, reviewing policy coverage and advocating on behalf of clients to achieve outstanding claims outcomes.

This role may also involve drafting technical updates, executive summaries, delivering training, conducting claims audits, and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of industry and regulatory landscapes.

Lockton operates in an agile working environment. The candidate is expected to be in a UK office at least one day per week, with travel across the UK and potentially internationally to meet client needs.

About You

Your knowledge and expertise:

• Experience in a senior claims relationship or technical role within a major corporate, law firm, insurer, or broker.
• Extensive experience in PDBI, Motor, and Casualty claims, with a solid understanding of legal principles across insurance types.
• Strong problem-solving and research skills to investigate technical issues and advise clients effectively.
• Focus on Motor, Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, and Property Damage & Business Interruption claims, with some knowledge of Cyber, D&O, PI, PAT, Marine Cargo claims.
• Ability to quickly understand client business issues, insurance needs, and expectations.
• Comfort in advocating for clients on complex claims and presenting performance/trends to senior stakeholders.
• Skill in preparing and interpreting claims data, including triangulations and cover variations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to represent Lockton professionally with clients, insurers, and industry contacts.
• High-level understanding of London Market claims handling and global risk management experience is advantageous.
