Job summary

CEVA Logistics in London is seeking a Global Chartering Administrator to support chartering administration and procurement processes on a global scale. You will oversee pending charter requests and ongoing charters, preparing contracts to keep processes on track.

This is a Monday to Friday role within our London-based Project Logistics team, offering exposure to international operations and opportunities to grow into a future shipping broker role.

Qualifications

• Background in logistics, shipping, or supply chain.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and learn quickly.
• Proficient with IT and confident using Microsoft-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Draw up shipping contracts.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date filing system for all chartering enquiries.
• Update and manage the chartering database to ensure all enquiries and related information are recorded properly.
• Produce regular reports, including for the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and CO₂ emissions per shipment.
• Support operational activities for charters in progress, including tracking vessel status and resolving minor issues.
• Assist with large tender submissions by entering accurate cost data and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to team growth by developing skills in rate negotiation and direct communication with shipping lines.
