Job summary

VPS Emsys Maritime in Manchester is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the commercial growth of our EMS products and solutions. You will develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, manage key customer relationships and collaborate with the wider VPS sales organisation to maximise market penetration and revenue.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (required).
5+ years in commercial, sales or business development in marine technology or related technical environment.
Proven track record in B2B sales within maritime industry.

Responsibilities

Drive commercial growth of the Emsys products and solutions.
Develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, manage key customer relationships.
Own sales pipeline and revenue targets from identification to closing.
Collaborate with customers, partners and our technical teams to meet market needs.
Provide pre-sales support, understand customer needs, and deliver effective solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits.
Travel internationally to meet customers and business opportunities.
