Job summary

VPS Emsys Maritime is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth of its EMS products globally from its base in the UK. You will own the sales pipeline, develop market strategies and work with customers, partners and engineering teams to translate technology into value.

You will lead strategic market initiatives, collaborate with global sales, and travel internationally to meet customers and opportunities, building long-term relationships and revenue growth for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years in a commercial, sales or business development role within marine technology.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and business development in maritime industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to develop business and revenue growth.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical sales and marketing of the Emsys Product in collaboration with the D&D and global Sales teams.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for hardware products in line with company goals.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and manufacturers to define product requirements and features.
• Lead the product development process of Emsys hardware and future products, including planning and budgeting.
• Develop and support partners and sales agents, and provide pre-sales support.
