Job summary

VPS Emsys Maritime is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across its EMS solutions globally. You will own the sales pipeline, develop strategic roadmaps, and work with engineers and partners to translate technical solutions into business value.

The role requires strong B2B sales acumen, excellent communication, and a willingness to travel internationally from its base near Altrincham, Greater Manchester.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• 5+ years in commercial, sales or business development in marine technology or related technical space.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and revenue growth within maritime industries.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial growth of Emsys products and solutions globally.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, identify opportunities and manage key customer relationships.
• Own the sales pipeline and revenue targets from opportunity to closing.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and manufacturers to define requirements and features.
• Provide pre-sales support, deliver demonstrations, and support tender/proposal creation.
• Travel internationally to meet customers, partners and opportunities.
