Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd, based in the UK defence sector, is seeking an Airworthiness Approvals Lead to support the Future Combat Air GCAP programme. You will sustain the DAOS approvals and drive development of a new organisational framework, coordinating with international partners to align regulatory requirements.

The role is hybrid and can be based at multiple UK sites including Luton, with travel to partner sites in the UK and overseas.

Qualifications

• Aerospace airworthiness certification background.
• Experience with UK MAA or civil equivalents (EASA/CAA).
• Experience developing and maintaining DAOS Expositions.

Responsibilities

• Represent Leonardo in GCAP forums on Design Organisation Approvals.
• Maintain knowledge of UK/Military and EMAR Part 21 regulations.
• Contribute with DETO and GCAP partners in airworthiness activities.
• Work with Design Integrity Chief Engineers to ensure consistent approaches.
• Maintain DAOS Exposition and assess regulatory changes impact.
