Job summary

University of Brighton in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Head of International Admissions and Conversion to lead the end-to-end international student journey from application to enrolment.

You will shape the team, operating model and processes to deliver an outstanding applicant experience, improved conversion, and strong enrolment outcomes, while managing UKVI compliance and developing digital admissions capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams and delivering against performance targets.
• Strong knowledge of international admissions and the end-to-end international student journey.
• Experience managing compliance, risk and high-risk international applications, including UKVI and CAS processes.
• Experience using data, forecasting and insight to improve conversion and enrolment.
• Experience of service improvement, organisational change and admissions systems.
• Knowledge of SITs system development and the ability to work with digital and student information systems to improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across the international student journey from application through to enrolment.
• Shape the team, operating model and processes to deliver an outstanding applicant experience and strong enrolment outcomes.
• Lead international admissions compliance, overseeing CAS processes, credibility and genuine student assessments, immigration compliance checks and sponsor compliance risks.
• Develop admissions systems and digital capability, using knowledge of SIT system development to support an effective, efficient and data-informed international admissions service.
• Collaborate with International Recruitment, Colleges, Professional Services, education agents, pathway providers and international partners.
