Higher Ed Partners is seeking an Admissions Team Leader for on-site work in St Albans or Brighton to lead a high-performing team through the applicant journey from application to enrolment.

You will own performance, quality, compliance and continuous improvement, using data to make admissions faster, smarter and more effective.

This leadership role focuses on coaching, process design, and building strong partnerships with university clients to shape the student journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education admissions and applicant journey.
• Proven experience leading a team of admissions staff.
• Strong knowledge of admissions compliance and policy.
• Experience with KPIs, SLAs, MI and process improvement.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional applicant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Admissions Coordinators through coaching, 1:1s, QA and performance management.
• Own KPIs and MI, driving turnaround times, accuracy, workload management and SLA performance.
• Champion accuracy and compliance, overseeing eligibility checks, document verification and admissions decisions.
• Improve processes, developing workflows, SOPs and quality controls to remove bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Manage complex cases and build strong relationships with our university partners.
• Shape the student journey, working closely with Enrolment, Retention and Partner Support.
• Use data to drive change, developing dashboards and reporting to identify trends and opportunities.
